Mini pumpkins are so cute, and you can find them both real and faux to use in your fall decorating. They come in many colors and varieties! I recently purchased a few white mini pumpkins from Hobby Lobby. They are priced at $3.99 each, but I got them 40% off.
Finding ways to style these pumpkins was so much fun! As I experimented, I came up with five different ways to show off these little cuties. Read on for five different ways to utilize your tiny pumpkins this fall.
You can use your small pumpkins to jazz up a bookcase or shelf. In this case, I propped mine on top of a stack of books on my secretary desk. It’s the perfect way to add a touch of fall to your shelf styling!
Another great way to use mini pumpkins is to fill a bowl with them, like you would with fruit or decorative glass balls. They look so cute displayed this way on your buffet or on your dining room table.
Showcase your small pumpkins by propping them on top of thick candlesticks. You can do a single candlestick or a pair of two. You can even add extra drama by placing tiny floral wreaths around the pumpkins, like you would for a candle.
A cute and unique option is to top off a teacup with a mini pumpkin. If you are using the faux pumpkins from Hobby Lobby, I have a tip for you. These pumpkins are top heavy and may not sit up straight in the teacup. To remedy this, I placed a few wine corks in the teacup for the pumpkin to sit on. This kept it sitting up straight and looking good!
You can get really creative with your tiny pumpkins by painting them with acrylic paint! I opted for a chinoiserie blue color, but you can truly do any color or pattern that your heart desires. Check out my DIY Painted Pumpkins tutorial if you’d like to create these yourself.
