Method
- Heat a lidded pan on medium-low heat. While heating, cut pears into thin slices.
- Once heated, melt butter in pan, stirring occasionally until completely melted, about 2 minutes.
- Add pears and cover. Simmer for 4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Uncover and turn heat to medium. Add brown sugar and sprinkle with cinnamon to taste. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally until sauce has thickened and sugar has dissolved.
- Serve in a bowl with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!
