This past 4th of July weekend, I concocted a beverage that may be the best sangria I’ve ever made. That’s saying a lot, especially since this is made with white wine and I typically prefer to drink a flavorful red. The inspiration came from the fresh mangoes and excessive amount of limes that we had on stock in our fridge. The resulting beverage is light and refreshing mango lime sangria — that tastes deceptively like fruit juice. Because of that, this recipe is perfect for folks that want alcohol but don’t actually like the taste of it.
For this recipe, I used fresh squeezed lime juice, and I purchased the mango juice and lemon juice in the bottle. I don’t have a juicer, so fresh mango juice would’ve been a huge amount of manual labor. If you have the proper equipment, I recommend using fresh, homemade juice. But if you don’t, this recipe is still delicious with juice bought from the store. If you’re interested in juicing your own mangoes, try this recipe for cold pressed mango juice.

I hope you enjoy this delicious and refreshing recipe as much as we did! Grab a glass and an appetizer and sip this drink on your patio or front porch in the warm summer months. It’s fruity, sweet, and absolutely perfect for the season.

Our mango chipotle mayo is the perfect topping for tacos, shrimp, and more. It’s sweet and little bit spicy. It also pairs so well with this mango sangria recipe! Be sure to give both recipes a try and let us know what you think in the comments below.
