This delicious sweet and sour pink lemonade sangria is the perfect pink drink for a girl’s night in. I typically stir up a batch of this as a crowd pleaser when I’m having female friends over. It’s got a sweet and sour flavor that’s sure to be popular, and the pink color is so much fun!
Be forewarned: I like my drinks strong! This pink lemonade sangria packs quite a punch, so if you don’t like your drink quite so strong, switch the measurements to 1 oz of limoncello and 1/3 cup lemon juice. This will give you some great flavor with less alcohol.
Limoncello is an Italian lemon liquor that can be served in sangria, in cocktails, or over ice on its own. It’s absolutely delicious and adds great flavor to this sangria. I love keeping a bottle on hand for myself and my friends to enjoy, especially during the summer. I used Caravella limoncello, but alternatively, you could try making your own limoncello.
The pink color in this drink comes from a small shot of grenadine. This also adds additional sweetness and flavor. I used bottled lemon juice in my recipe, but you can always freshly juice your lemons for extra freshness. For the wine, any sweet a light white wine will do the trick.
