Some Changes to Lauren Magazine

By , September 22, 2026

Friends, there have been some changes to how I approach blogging for Lauren Magazine that I feel I need to address. I have been writing here less frequently and have been pouring my energy into my design blog, Lauren Rose Home.

I will not stop writing for Lauren Magazine, but I’m only going to write when the spirit leads me. I’m not focusing too much on promotion of my content.

I’m not looking to reach a huge audience with this blog. Rather, I hope to speak to those who have struggled with oppression like me and need to be free.

I trust God to lead here those that need what I have to say. But my main focus is on my design blog.

If you were following my mental health journey, something you may now be interested in is my free eBook. This 32-page testimony of wrestling with mental illness and finding freedom in the Lord was once hidden behind an email subscription. However, it has been made public (and still free).

Why I’m More Focused on Design

Truthfully, my mental health is so helped by my design and DIY projects. They put me in a headspace where I am free from intrusive thoughts and feeling like I’m going to have an episode.

In eternity, I’m not going to be writing blog posts about spiritual things. All that stuff will become clear to us. But I hope to spend eternity worshipping God and decorating the home he promises me in heaven.

It’s not that this blog and these topics are less important than design. But the right thing for me is to focus the majority of my energy on the design blog. It’s where my true passion lies and where I find the most peace.

Where to Follow Me

If this blog has helped you in any way, I encourage you to follow Lauren Magazine on Instagram. There I will continue to share when I’ve made a new post. I hope to post higher quality articles that are spirit-filled, but with less frequency than before.

Thank you for reading and following along! If you are interested in my design blog, be sure to check it out. You can also follow Lauren Rose Home on Instagram.
